The answer to the need to urinate during a trip, EasyUry System is the result of the work of a research team composed of specialists in the field. Working in close synergy and collaboration, the team devised an effective technical solution and this led to the production of an innovative healthcare device which is uncomparable to any current product on the market to meet the two original requirements: being able to urinate anywhere in complete privacy and avoid the multiple possibilities of contamination with infected biological liquids.

The EasyUry project has been brought to my attention. The EasyUry System research team patented this device, trying to source the main complications at the care level with regard to satisfying the need to urinate.

In addition to the versatility for all women (the most prone to contract urinary tract infections), in my opinion it is a very useful product for use in hospitals or long-term care facilities. The material which it is made from is certainly less invasive and more tolerated even for people with movement limitation, all whilst being hygienic and thus reducing the possibility of contracting infections and possible complications.

After careful evaluation of the project submitted to my attention by the research group called EasyUry System, which structured and patented the health device kit called EasyUry composed of a hygeinic seat and absorbent integrated into a suitable containment structure, I believe that the use of the final product can contribute effectively to the prevention of the most important uro-gynecological infections that can be easily contracted from using public bathrooms.

The freedom to be able to urinate when the need arises, while travelling, reduces the risks of cystitis and related vagitis, mainly from escherichia coli and other enterobacteria.

As a mother of two children aged 12 and 14 respectively and a nurse coordinator, I rate the EasyUry System very highly.
The device is great as a prevention for any contamination by biological liquids from public toilets: contact contamination is specifically almost inevitable when you are travelling with children, the elderly and the disabled. The ability to use the device directly in the car allows for total privacy and whilst being hygienic.

Another positive point is that the device helps people who are on diuretic medications in times of urgency: I am referring in particular to patients with mobility issues, who require frequent stops or use incontinence pads to prevent annoying leaks.

Last but not least, after being used, EasyUry allows total privacy to clean yourself whilst preventing any kind of contamination and disposal without spilling organic liquids and without odour.
The seat can be disinfected and reused by multiple people in total safety.

I first thought of the EasyUry device whilst I was on holiday and travelling as a passenger. The need to be able to pee when I felt the need led me to look for a solution that was comfortable and practical.

I started enthusiastically to think about a device which was adaptable to the car, I first thought jokingly about a device which was actually integrated in the seat: definitely not feasible! Then slowly I looked through the sanitary products that I already used whilst nursing... I started thinking about something that was soft and adaptable that could collect urine, and from a memory foam doughnut for the care of hemorrhoids the original draft of the product was created.

With the advice of a research group made up of technicians and managers in the health field, after several design and patent changes we have finally come to the specific verification for health products with European HTA protocol, testing our final prototype.

That's how today Teresa and I are able to introduce you to the EasyUry System.

Having always worked in the commercial field, my professional activities - but also personal - mean that I am often travelling by car, and also for long periods at a time: therefore it can be said that my need to urinate is practically always a priority; prolonged queues on the motorway, dirty or even non-existent bathrooms on minor roads mean that I often have to "hold” my urine even for several hours, with the consequences and inconveniences that we all well know.

It is for this first reason that, when I was asked if I wanted to collaborate on Gigliola’s idea, I was drawn to the project and enthusiastically agreed to be a part of it.
In addition to the possibilities of application in various fields of use and therefore the great commercial and market potential, I found participation in this experience particularly suited to my aptitudes and professional skills.

In the context of the activities related to market research and analysis, I also had the opportunity to personally test the device and to check its efficiency on elderly people with walking difficulties: given its excellent results, in the near future, with other advice from medical and nursing staff, we will check the product on the basis of the needs of people with disabilities and those who look after and help them.
